Oakland’s celebrated coffee culture took center stage on Sunday, December 14, as the Historic Rotunda opened its doors for Oakland’s Coffee Market. From 10 AM to 3 PM, the iconic dome became a gathering place for roasters, makers, and neighbors to come together and enjoy a day filled with craft coffee, local artistry, and community spirit.
What unfolded was a warm and welcoming celebration of everything that makes Oakland’s coffee scene so special.
Oakland has long been known for its innovative roasting heritage, a place where small-batch producers, heritage roasters, and creative makers push boundaries and shape the future of specialty coffee. The inaugural market brought all of that energy into one space, inviting guests to shop, sip, taste, and explore the flavors that define the city.
Within the historic charm of The Rotunda, attendees browsed small-batch beans, roaster merchandise, brewing gear, and curated gift sets. Guests were able to meet the people behind Oakland’s favorite roasteries, hear their stories firsthand, and discover new blends, brews, and craft techniques that make each brand unique.
